Tommy Atkins is a great source of vitamins C and A. It is best to grow trees in moist, tropical, and sub-tropical regions. A tree needs at least six hours of sunlight to grow.

Haden

Haden mango is a widely cultivated variety around the world. It is planted in late winter to early spring. This tree can thrive in any type of soil but must be well-drained. Place the plant in a location that receives at least six hours of direct sunlight. This species is cultivated for superior-quality fruits with great flavor and rich color.

Carrie Kent

Carrie Kent is a semi-dwarf species of the mango tree. Its fruits are generally small in size as compared to other varieties. This is a minimum-care tree to grow. It is ideal to grow in containers because it has little to no problem with disease or fungus. The flesh of the fruit is rich in flavor with a strong aroma.

Nom Doc Mai

Nom Doc Mai originated in Thailand and is one of the most popular varieties in the country. The tree can grow up to 10-15 ft. in height. The fruit has an exceptional appearance with an elongated shape and a prominent beak. The flesh of the fruit has little fiber, a strong aroma, and the sweetest flavor.

Kent

Kent mango is a native to south Florida. The fruit is fleshy and tasty and lacks fiber. However, this species is not ideal to grow for commercial purposes due to its poor shelf life. The tree bears fruits from July to August. It regular watering and full sun to grow.
